Absorber - Cooling through heat

The economic conditions for industrial and agricultural refrigeration have changed considerably in recent years. Due to the constantly rising electricity prices and the heat supply by means of decentralised own power generation, absorption chillers, which use heat instead of electricity for propulsion, in many cases have economic advantages compared to conventional compression chillers.

The ammonia/water absorption chiller congelo enables cooling down to an outlet temperature of -28 °C. As a drive, it essentially requires heat, which is generated in industrial processes or during power generation by means of block-type thermal power stations or gas turbines and often cannot be used elsewhere. The power requirement of this system is marginal compared to compression refrigeration systems.
