SPC-1T & SPC-4T

Product range Two-stage cryogenic generators for temperatures up to 15K

Cryogenic generators type SPC-T are mainly used to generate the cooling capacity for helium gas cooling with forced gas flow. The single-cylinder or four-cylinder systems operate according to the Stirling principle and are electrically driven.

SPC-T cryogenic generators generate cooling capacity by compression and expansion of the working gas helium in a closed system. At the cold head of the Stirling machine temperatures from 15K can be provided. The systems are designed in such a way that two cooling circuits with output temperatures of >15K (primary circuit) and ≥80K (secondary circuit) can be supplied with cooling energy.

This design enables two-stage cryogenic cooling:

First stage: Thermal shielding or pre-cooling by the secondary cooling circuit with an output temperature ≥80K
Second stage: cryogenic cooling by the primary cooling circuit with an output temperature >15K
Further configurations are possible.
In the low-temperature circuit, pressurized helium gas is generally used as the cooling medium. Neon-based solutions are also possible. The gas circulation is carried out by maintenance-free cryofan gas pumps, which are optimised for minimal heat input into the cooling circuit.

The available cooling capacity can be scaled with multisystem systems.
