The DFCH is an axial counterflow dry cooler based on the induced draft principle for a power range from 120 to 800 kW. The maximum liquid inlet temperature is 65 °C. It is characterised by the use of robust materials and low maintenance requirements.

Operating principle
In the DFCH, the hot process liquid (1) flows through a finned coil (2). Axial fans (3) suck in air (4) via the tube bundle, which transfers the heat to the air. The cooled process liquid (5) then flows back to the heat source.
Typical applications are:
Small to medium climate and industrial applications
Sites with limited water availability
Applications with long range and long cooling limit distance
